ADDENDUM TO TARIFF BOOKLET OF RELIANCE ENERGY LTD

Reference: 1. Tariff Order dated 1^st July, 2004 in Case No. 18 of 2003

2. MERC letter No.1244 dated 5.7.2004 approving REL’s Tariff Schedule w.e.f. 1.7.2004 in Case No. 18 of 2003

The following should be added after clause 10.2 relating to Billing Demand in the Tariff Booklet approved by the Commission in respect of Reliance Energy Ltd. vide its letter No. 1244 dated 5.7.2004:

"Provided that, with effect from 1st November, 2004, if a consumer exceeds his Contract Demand, the demand in excess of the Contract Demand shall be charged at the rate of 150% of the Demand Charges."
